Fencing

Introduction

The Auckland Grammar School Fencing Team is a dedicated group of sportsmen that has gained success at the Auckland Regional Secondary School Championships and the Fencing National Championships. Many of its team members have represented New Zealand at an Australasian level.

General Information

Terms played: Terms 1, 2 and 3

Game days: Tournaments during weekends, Terms 1, 2 and 3

Practice times: Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:15pm for fitness. On Mondays between Monday 3.30pm-5pm, students receive professional coaching by Judit Fliszar

Costs: $390

Equipment: Fencing glove ($40). Jacket and weapons will be provided by the coach

Registration: Term 1

Master in Charge: L. Quelch. Students are able to speak to him in the English department during the School day or contact him via email.
