For Cambridge AS Maths students who missed yesterday's methodology tutorial, there is a recap today at lunchtime in B3.

Form 3 students who are allowed to use a Reader, Writer, Computer or Extra Time in exams, there will be a meeting in LS6 in the Learning Support Department at lunchtime today, to explain what you need to do.

The examination skills seminar has been postponed until next Wednesday.

While it is essential that you are in School, completing class work and internal assessments, if at all possible, if you are unwell, the School would prefer that you are at home recovering and not at School potentially infecting others.

If you have missed or will miss an internal assessment deadline or in-class assessment and you have a legitimate reason for being absent, you may be eligible for an extension.

You can collect an application form for an extension to a deadline on an internal assessment from Student Reception. You must do so on the day you return to School, and be ready to provide a medical certificate as supporting evidence for your application.

If you missed internal assessments in class, or missed deadlines, last week due to Summer Tournament Week, you do not need to complete the extension application form, but you should discuss catch-up arrangements with your teacher as soon as possible.

All students in forms 5, 6, and 7 who are interested in Spanish Debating, please meet in L5 at the start of lunch today.

Students who know that they will be absent from School on the day of an examination must obtain pre-approved Headmaster’s Leave. Failure to do so may result in a mark of zero.

The Examination Timetable, Clash list and the Rooming Guides are now confirmed and these have been posted to GrammarNet, the School’s website, and the noticeboard in the corridor between A10 & A11. Students are reminded to check the Rooming Guides carefully to make sure that they know where to go for every examination. Students also need to ensure that arrive at the correct room at least 15 minutes before each examination so they ready to start their examination on time at either 9:30am, 11am, 12:30pm or 2pm.

The Aerospace Club will be meeting today at lunchtime in L7. There is a guest speaker who has a Private Pilot's Licence.

All 6th and 7th Form students who have expressed an interest in the Entrepreneurship group are to meet in A8 at interval.

All four of the school's internal music competitions have heats or finals next term. These are: The Battle of The Bands, The Form 3 Piano Cup, The Junior Music Plate and the Minister’s Plate.

Trials will be running tomorrow at 6:45am on the No.2 Field. Bring mouthguards and boots. Any students who would like to trial but have yet to register must see Mr. Easingwood or Mr. Edwards today in Student Services. This includes Form 7 students who are now eligible to play in 2024.
