Positions currently available:

Resource Administrator

Auckland Grammar School seeks a Resource Administrator to join the Administrative team. This position is full time, during the term only (40 hours per week).

Key responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Administer the effective operation of the resource room
  • Administer the textbook returns and associated defaulters’ process
  • Administer the internal examination production and distribution process
  • Ensure on time printing, sorting and storing of all internal examination material
  • Ensure on time printing, sorting and storing of all department print requests
  • Complete minor mark-up changes to documents for departments to ensure best practice for document printing is achieved
  • Provide supplementary print room services including but not limited to binding, laminating and booklet creation
  • Administer the supplies of specialist card / paper stock
  • Administer the Print fleet in relation to faults
  • Be available to staff as the expert with regard to the print fleet, which includes training staff in the effective use of the equipment
  • Be a contributing member of Auckland Grammar School

2nd XI Cricket Coach and Junior Cricket Support

Auckland Grammar School is seeking an experienced, motivated and exceptional Cricket coach.

The 2nd XI Coach and Junior Cricket Support role is fundamentally a coaching and mentoring position. The key responsibilities of this role include the coaching and management of the 2nd XI team and providing support to junior morning grade cricket teams, coaches and players. 

The responsibilities and functions of this role aim to establish and develop quality experiences that better prepare students and coaches for their future in sport and their personal lives.

This is a six-month fixed term position (26 weeks between October and March, 35 hours per week). The start date will be October 2024.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration and coaching of the 2nd XI Cricket team, as well as player development
  • Assist junior grade coaches
  • Motivate players and fellow coaches to reach their potential
  • Support the School’s overarching Cricket Development Programme
  • Team training schedules

We are looking for an individual who has the following attributes:

  • A strong track record in coaching and Cricket management
  • Experience in Premier cricket coaching
  • A Level 3 Cricket Coach
  • International and leadership experience
  • A great cultural fit
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous work experience in New Zealand secondary school

Director of Library

Auckland Grammar School is seeking a Director of Library, who will be responsible for leading the School’s library service to students and staff. This is a full-time permanent role (40 hours per week). 

We are looking for a person with the following attributes:

  • Holds a professional Library and Information qualification
  • Holds Library Professional Registration
  • Provide leadership in the specialist areas of a library, and has previous leadership experience in successfully managing a library
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and members of the community
  • A high energy professional, with a positive track record of building relationships
  • Ability to be involved in and build a community
  • Skilled at creating and fostering positive networks
  • Proven demonstration of enacting and role modelling

Gateway Co-ordinator and Teacher
