A group of Music students will take part in a workshop with the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra on Wednesday 31 May at the Auckland Town Hall.

Grammarphonics and Grammar Voices will compete at the Big Sing Regionals on Tuesday 20 June, held at the Auckland Town Hall. Students will leave campus at 8am and will be back at school by lunchtime. This is the qualifying competition for the Big Sing Finale to be held later in Term 3.

The second Performance Day will take place on Friday 21 July, with students leaving campus at 7:45am. Groups involved include the Premier Concert Band, the Pipe Band, the Wind Band, the Big Band, Grammar Virtuosi, Symphony Orchestra and Grammarphonics.

The Big Band and Jazz Combo will compete in the heats of the annual Auckland Jazz Competition on Sunday 23 July at the Point Chevalier RSA.

The first of two annual Winter Concerts will take place in the Centennial Theatre on Tuesday 25 July, beginning at 7pm. Groups performing include several Chamber Music groups, the Jazz Combo, the Big Band, Grammar Virtuosi, and the two School choirs, Grammarphonics and Grammar Voices.

The second annual Winter Concert will take place in the Centennial Theatre on Thursday 27 July, beginning at 7pm. Groups performing include several Chamber Music groups, the Concertante String Orchestra, the Wind Band, the Pipe Band, the Premier Concert Band and the Symphony Orchestra.

The Premier Concert Band will compete in the annual New Zealand Concert Band Festival, held at Westlake Girls' High School, on Saturday 5 August.

The Big Band and Jazz Combo will compete in the final of the Auckland Jazz Competition on Sunday 6 August.
