In order to give students important information about their upcoming external examinations, all senior students will attend an Examination Briefing in the Centennial Theatre prior to departure on Study Leave.

Cambridge students will go on Study Leave following your Examination Briefing timings which are as follows:
• 7A-7H: This Friday, Period 6.
• 6A-6I and Form 5 students sitting AS Mathematics: This Friday, Period 7.
• Note that AS Maths exams are on Wednesday and Friday of Week 1 next term and so Form 5 students doing AS Maths will be on limited Study Leave in Week 1.

At these briefings, you will be given a copy of the Cambridge Examination Timetable, Rooming Guide and Exam Clash List, a set of examination regulations and instructions, and your personalised Cambridge Statements of Entry which you need to get into your exams.

NCEA Derived Grades

You may apply for a derived grade for an NCEA external standard if you have been selected, by a registered National Body, to represent your country in a nationally selected team in a sport or approved activity. If you believe you might be eligible, you must request pre-approval, as soon as you have confirmation of selection. Applications cannot be approved after the event has taken place – pre-approval is required. Individuals or teams chosen by invitation, an application process or competition winners do not meet the criteria for national selection. If you wish to find out more information, you must see Mr Maguire or Dr Etty.
