Lawn Bowls

Lawn Bowls

Introduction

Auckland Grammar School offers a lawn bowls programme for any students who are keen to play competitively or socially. We identify and develop top players at the first tournament of the year in March, where those new to the game and those who have played before get a chance to play competitively.

The best performing teams in this tournament will get the chance to play in the qualifying rounds for Auckland Championships, where they will start to come up against players from other schools in the area.

Lawn Bowls Achievements

Auckland Grammar players have been in the Auckland representative teams ever year, since we started playing lawn bowls as a school sport in 2006.

We have also been the most successful team in terms of winning titles since lawn bowls was established as a secondary school sport. We have an outstanding reputation and tradition to uphold and we are looking forward to the 2016 competitions.
