Winter Tournament - August 2011
Nine Grammar teams competed in various tournments around the country. The Premier Table Tennis team beat Macleans College in the final of their National tournament to crown a superb season. Basketball also went close reaching their final, but lost to Northern Region champions Rosmini College. 1st XI Football and U15 Rugby both had excellent tournaments both losing narrowly at the semi-final stage but both won their play-off match for 3rd place, the 1st XI beating MAGS and U15's defeating Napier Boys' High. Grammar Rowers Win Maadi Cup 2011
On Saturday 2 April Grammar Rowing had its best ever Maadi Cup Regatta winning three Gold and two Silver medals. The U18 4's won the Springbok Shield for the first time and then completed the double by winning the Maadi Cup in the U18 8's final.

New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships

10-12 September 2010

The Grammar weightlifting team was successful in defending their National Teams title. The Grammar lifters claimed 6 golds, 4 silvers and 1 bronze in a field of 65 lifters from 8 other schools around the country.

Open Auckland Championships and Northern Region Secondary School Championship Results 2010

The Grammar weightlifting team has competed in two competitions this year, the Open Auckland Champs and the Northern Regional Secondary School Champs.

Dane Naidoo placed 3rd in the under 69kg class at the Open Auckland Champs with a 50kg Snatch and a 65kg Clean and Jerk. He has also been named the vice captain of weightlifting.

Also in the 69kg class, Johnson Mok and Kevin Shin placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Northern regional champs. Shin Snatching 55kg and Clean and Jerking 75kg, Mok Snatched 63 and clean and jerked 75. Mok's lift also qualified him for a weightlifting Rep badge.

Ben Sceats won the 77kg grade of the northern regionals with the lifts 55kg and 65kg.

Moving up to the 94kg class Braden Wooders placed 2nd at the Auckland Champs with a 65kg snatch and a 75kg clean and jerk. However the stand out performance of both competitions came from Scott Pardington. Placing 1st in the both competitions with a 85kg snatch and a 110kg clean and jerk at Auckland Champs, improving the snatch to 90kgs at the Northern Regionals with the same clean and jerk of 110kg. These lifts qualify Pardington for a rep badge and he had been named captain of weightlifting.

The team is looking strong leading into the National Secondary School Championship held 11 September.
