- Winter Tournament - August 2011
- Nine Grammar teams competed in various tournments around the country. The Premier Table Tennis team beat Macleans College in the final of their National tournament to crown a superb season. Basketball also went close reaching their final, but lost to Northern Region champions Rosmini College. 1st XI Football and U15 Rugby both had excellent tournaments both losing narrowly at the semi-final stage but both won their play-off match for 3rd place, the 1st XI beating MAGS and U15's defeating Napier Boys' High. - Grammar Rowers Win Maadi Cup 2011
- On Saturday 2 April Grammar Rowing had its best ever Maadi Cup Regatta winning three Gold and two Silver medals. The U18 4's won the Springbok Shield for the first time and then completed the double by winning the Maadi Cup in the U18 8's final.

Celebrity Twenty/20 Cricket Match v 1st XI
Friday 2 December 4 pm - Old Boys' Pavilion and function to follow
On Friday 2 December we are holding a 20/20 Cricket match on the Top Field where the Schools' First X1 will play a celebrity team comprising Martin Crowe, Mark Greatbatch, Marc Ellis, James McOnie (Crowd Goes Wild), Franklyn Rose (West Indian Fast Bowler), Jacob Oram (current Black Cap) and others. The match starts at 4:30pm and will conclude around 7:30pm.
On the day, Auckland Cricket is also setting up interactive cricketing activities for the kids at the ground so muster as many cricket fans as you can to come along.
Afterwards there is an after match function in the Old Boys Pavilion. Tickets for this event are $50 a head and can be purchased on the day...... otherwise phone Polly Hudson 021 772 482 or Marianne Black 021 400 694 as tickets are limited. The function includes a silent and live auction to raise money.
All of this is to improve cricket at Auckland Grammar School at all levels and to help Grammar become the dominant cricket school in Auckland.
It's going to be an exciting and improved summer of cricket at Auckland Grammar and we look forward to your support.
