- Winter Tournament - August 2011
- Nine Grammar teams competed in various tournments around the country. The Premier Table Tennis team beat Macleans College in the final of their National tournament to crown a superb season. Basketball also went close reaching their final, but lost to Northern Region champions Rosmini College. 1st XI Football and U15 Rugby both had excellent tournaments both losing narrowly at the semi-final stage but both won their play-off match for 3rd place, the 1st XI beating MAGS and U15's defeating Napier Boys' High. - Grammar Rowers Win Maadi Cup 2011
- On Saturday 2 April Grammar Rowing had its best ever Maadi Cup Regatta winning three Gold and two Silver medals. The U18 4's won the Springbok Shield for the first time and then completed the double by winning the Maadi Cup in the U18 8's final.

New Zealand Secondary Schools National Tournament
September 2010
The school Premier Badminton Teams took part in the National Championships during tournament week 2010.
The premier 1 team finished 4th overall which was where they were seeded.
The Premier 2 team went through the competition losing only 1 match. They finished top of the B Division. They were place 7th of the 18 teams that took part.
All players did well and enjoyed themselves. It was good to have 2 competitive teams in the National Championships after a break of a few years.
AGS Badminton 2010
The school has 12 teams playing in a competition organised by Auckland Badminton. We are restricted to 12 teams because of limited courts being available. These teams play after school at Badminton Hall, Gillies Avenue.
On Wednesday 9 June 2010 Grammar badminton players competed against Hamilton Boys' High School in the annual fixture and the seniors drew 3-3, the juniors won 6-0 and overall it was a 9-3 win to Auckland Grammar.
