Parents' Support Committee Information
This committee is represented by the parents of Tibbs House. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings which are held at the beginning of each term.
Term 1 - Monday evening at 6.30pm (as our sons are due back in at 5.30pm).
Terms 2, 3 & 4 - Sunday evening at 6.30pm (when our sons return to Tibbs House after the holidays).
AGM – is held in Term 4 with a Chairperson and Treasurer /Secretary being elected.
These informal meetings are very informative covering the following information:
- The House Master in Charge (Mr Morton) gives a detailed report on the terms activities and events along with any improvements and maintenance considered necessary at Tibbs House.
- Donations – each year donations are requested. This money goes towards the purchase of items to make Tibbs House more homely for our sons, along with any repairs to equipment that may be required. The donation requested is $100 for Year 9 boarders and $50 each year there after.
- At our meetings we also discuss possible purchases or upgrades.
- By attending these meetings you will get to meet many other parents, voice your opinions about the issues regarding the life of Tibbs House, and will not be pressured to take on any unwanted tasks or responsibilities.
