150 former Grammar students turned out in force for the Recent Leavers’ Event in the Old Boys’ Pavilion on 13 February 2009. This is an annual opportunity for Old Boys who left AGS in the past five years to get together over a beer and catch up before everyone heads off to start University or settle into their careers after the summer.

Highlights of the night included the great atmosphere in the room stemming from the easy banter between friends, the tasty South African sausages provided by the School’s 1st XI Soccer team and don’t forget those $3 beers! Congratulations to Sebastian Martin (Class of 2004) and Dion Friedman (Class of 2004) who won the door prizes – an AGS umbrella.

Thank you to all who participated for providing address updates, email addresses and mobile numbers so that the Old Boys’ Association can keep in touch.
