The Melbourne Old Boys’ Association function was held on Tuesday 27 September at Manhattan Restaurant in Toorak, Melbourne. Thanks to the organising and hospitality abilities of Sandra and David Dick, the function went extremely well.

Over 30 Old Boys attended this year and instead of a sit down dinner as at previous functions, a stand up cocktail function was favoured and well received by the guests present.

The Headmaster was accompanied on the trip by the Board Chairman Mr Jeff Blackburn and Director of Advancement Mr Roger Hill. The Headmaster talked about progress at the School since the last function in 2009 and also some plans for the future while Mr Hill explained the Academic Endowment Fund to the assembled guests and the campaign to raise $20 million for this fund by 2020.

All told it was a most convivial affair and one we hope to repeat every second year.
